NHS e-Procurement Strategy

In April 2014 the NHS published its e-Procurement strategy. The report was driven by the need to optimise and align existing e-Procurement practises across the entire NHS. The strategy states that adopting e-Procurement will produce annual savings of between £3 million and £5 million for a typical 600-bed hospital and aims to help the NHS overall save £1.5 billion annually.
